THE CHILDREN\u2019S LIFE FUND AUTHORITY<\/b><\/p>

The Children’s Life Fund Authority (CLFA) is the body bestowed with the responsibility to operate, manage, and administer the Children’s Life Fund. <\/span><\/p>

THE CHILDREN\u2019S LIFE FUND ACT<\/b><\/p>

The Children’s Life Fund is a charitable fund that was established by the Government of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago in November 2010 by Act of Parliament – Act No. 12 of 2010, with Amendments to the Act in 2025.<\/span><\/p>

The CLFA ensures that all eligible applicants to the fund are carefully considered by a team of highly qualified Specialist Doctors to ensure that the “Best Care Plan” is determined and carefully executed. The CLFA’s first priority is the well-being of the child and his\/her family.<\/span><\/p>

ORGANISATIONAL OBJECTIVES<\/b><\/p>

The Objectives of the CLFA are as follows: <\/span><\/p>

\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span><\/span>To operate, manage and administer the Children\u2019s Life Fund.<\/span><\/p>

\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span><\/span>To facilitate the provision of specialist medical treatment to children suffering from life-limiting illnesses for which the required treatment is unavailable at a local medical institution. <\/span><\/p>

\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span><\/span>To manage the Life Unit.<\/span><\/p>
